Who doesn't want to have the Best Agents in Valorant? Tell me!
UPDATE of the ranking of The best Valorant Agents :
1. Sage
2. Breach
- Cypher
Cypher is all about setting traps to slow down the enemy's advances and gather information. In this way, it plays a more defensive and supportive role. It really goes crazy when you see an enemy lurking, or you get that crucial bit of information that then lets you surprise the enemy with a counterattack.
In many ways, you can totally block a bomb site on your own! Their traps and devices are hard to avoid, so much so that over time we can see players discovering some devious locations to make these sites very, very difficult to attack.
Cypher's mastery comes from knowing where to optimally place these traps and perfectly balancing his attention between them and the game. It's so easy to get caught up in shooting them or putting them in the right place that you will forget you are in a vulnerable position and will suddenly fall.
- Sulfur
We found that Brimstone is a great character for players who are new to the game, because their skills are easy to understand and implement, at the same time provide a good amount of money to the table.
Brimstone can determine exactly where he wants three smoke grenades to simultaneously land close to his position, and we've found this to be exceptionally useful when defending a site. However, it can also be used when pushing into place to obscure view from difficult angles to protect teammates and ward off opposition. Also, it is easy to use. Literally, a little map pops up, you click where you want them to fall, and after a short delay they will fall from the sky.
One of Brimstone's other abilities is a Molotov that can be shot quite far across the map and can be useful in driving opponents out of places you know they are holding. It can also be fired on a planted bomb to delay a defuse, or used in choke points to delay a push so your team has a few extra seconds to prepare defensively.
There's also a Stim Pack that isn't amazing, but it's easy to throw and gives allies in your radius a higher rate of fire and damage. If you know you're about to get into a trade or shootout, it's a solid option to give yourself that extra edge, but it's by no means essential.
Brimstone's Orbital Strike works wonders if you know where the enemy is located. If they are pressing, you can release it to divide them, or if they are planting, you can drop it on them to ensure an easy kill. Think of it as a tool to force enemies into places they would rather not be, allowing you to capitalize on your missteps.
- Sova
Sova was the agent everyone thought would be incredibly overpowered, having seen a clip of him shooting an arrow and seeing an enemy through a box. Yes, he can do this. No, it is not as innovative as you think.
Sova's Scout Arrow is a strong tool that briefly illuminates enemy positions. Despite being easily countable, it has a fairly low cooldown and offers a wealth of information, even if it doesn't necessarily collect any activity.
Another vision tool is his Drone Owl Drone, which can fly a short distance around a map and comes equipped with a dart that will periodically reveal enemies that they have been tagged. Again, this can gather so much information for your team and will not put you in danger at all. Think of it as a free peek around a corner or somewhere.
Next is his Shock Arrow that deals with area of effect damage after detonation. It's probably the weakest ability in your arsenal in terms of usability, but it's still useful in some scenarios. For example, if you know that an enemy is hiding in a place, you can shoot it to eliminate it or even kill it if you are lucky.
Finally, Sova can fire three powerful arrows that travel across the map and deal damage. These are quite strong when combined with his other abilities, as you can send them straight to enemies if you know where they are. Overall it's great for getting quick bits of information for rotations, replays, and the like, but it's definitely not a groundbreaking game.
- Raze
Ella doesn't bring much utility to a team, but her offensive capabilities are second to none. His Boombot allows him to safely explore enemies, and his C4-esque ability can be used to climb to unique locations around a map.
Let's not forget his rocket launcher which can instantly kill enemies quickly with its ridiculous splash damage radius.
In our games, we've found that Raze's Cluster Grenades are his biggest asset. They do great damage and are excellent at taking out enemies, finishing them off, and erasing any hope of a group push.

7. Viper
By no means does the Viper rating in this guide make it a bad choice. She is just an agent that needs to be played in the right hands, as many of her abilities obscure vision but hurt allies who intervene in them as well.
A good viper can cause headaches to the enemy team. You can drop poisonous smoke bombs which are not only great for blocking choke points but also allow you to get in without taking any damage, perfect for keeping your enemies guessing. Its massive toxic screen totally divides vision, and its massive ability can make retaking a bomb site incredibly difficult for the enemy. Again, you just have to communicate with your team before taking down these great abilities, as you don't want to hinder your allies.
8. Phoenix
One of the most Counter: Strike-like of the lot, Phoenix has a flashbang and molotov in his arsenal, instantly giving him tools to deal serious damage, whether attacking or defending. Plus, its ultimate ability is easy to use, and it's a great way to get information without taking the risk.
Phoenix's reusable ability is a fireball that works almost identically to Brimstone's Molotov but with less range. It's decent for blocking a choke point and generally causes some headaches for teams, but we've found its greatest strength is as a free healing tool. His fire abilities heal him, so he can knock him down to his feet for a bit of replenishment if he's injured.
Phoenix flashbangs cannot be thrown forward or bounced off objects, instead they are orbs that can be rotated left or right around corners. In this regard, we find them a bit difficult to use effectively as they are less versatile than their CS counterparts. Don't get us wrong, if you're standing in the corner of a box or door, they're great for catching enemies by surprise as they explode in an instant, but. And it's a big but. It must be positioned correctly in the heat of the moment; otherwise you are likely to be blinded. The option not to "pitch forward" is a surprising hurdle!
Phoenix also has a wall of fire that will obscure vision and split a section of the map in two, making it a risky and confusing affair for enemy players.
Hoo boy, the latest from Phoenix is a cookie. Activate it and you will take control of a fiery clone while your real body remains where you stopped and also vulnerable to attack. In the meantime, you will have a set time limit to run and shoot as a clone. This makes it amazing to scout ahead to gather information on enemy positions and even get a few kills in the process, all virtually risk-free.
- Jett
Easily the most mobile agent on the list, Jett is great for hitting hard-to-reach places and maintaining cheeky angles. His run grants him the ability to get in and out of cover, or if used in conjunction with his blades, makes him incredibly hard to hit and impossible to escape.
Jett also offers a little utility with its cloud smoke which are great for hiding vision in difficult situations.
We would also say that it is quite difficult to use effectively if you are just starting out. All of his abilities prevent his smoke grenade from rapidly activating and once he's engaged there is no turning back. Also, to get the most out of them, you'll want to combine them. Practice and you can become a force to be reckoned with. In many of the games we have played, there is a Jett who has given us headaches with fast and aggressive plays.
- Omen
Omen feels like he's about to be a very strong character, but he's not there yet. It's about gaining control of the map with fumes running through the walls, and a teleportation maneuver that lets you close gaps or jump to high places with the click of a button.
The Latest from Omen allows you to choose a location on the map and travel there. Great for sneaking up on an enemy team and will also provoke paranoia. It is indeed a stalker's dream, but playing it effectively can be difficult, as it is easy to be overly jealous.
This is not to say that Omen is bad. No way. We have come across a lot of strong Omen players who get creative with their skills and give us huge headaches. It's at the bottom of the rung from a 'general' point of view - simply put, the vast majority of players who pick it up will not have the same impact as, say, they would play Sage.
