Knowing how to set your sights on Valorant is essential in Valorant if you want to increase your aim.
In this guide, we will explain How to Configure your Mira in Valorant and what settings will allow you to do so.
How to Set Up Your Sight on Valorant - If there's one aspect of Valorant you'll want to change right away, especially if you're looking to climb the competitive ladder, it's your sights. It's such a critical part of this relentless FPS that adapting it to your style of play can make a huge difference. Not that the default isn't that great, it could be so much better!
In our experience with CS: GO, Overwatch, and the like, having a sight tailored to your liking can give you greater confidence in shootouts and begin the process of ingraining that all-important muscle memory in the way you move your mouse over the pad. Being totally comfortable with your crosshair also means you don't need to worry about it - there won't be this "urgh, I'm not sure I like it" feeling. You'll spend all your energy focusing on improving the game and less on little things like this.
Valorant: How to set your sights
So once you've gained access to the closed beta, launch the game and complete the tutorial sequence. Now when you are on the menu screen, look at the top right corner of the screen and you will see the big white "Play Now" icon. Mouse over this and three tabs will appear below, Select the "Settings" tab.
You will then see five tabs at the top of the screen. Select "Crosshair" in the center and a setup screen will appear filled with many configuration options for your crosshair on Valorant.
Make a note of the image above these setting sliders. It displays your current settings in a cross shape and it will change dynamically as you modify the settings. So each time you make adjustments, you can refer to this image to see what your crosshairs will look like in-game.
The most notable settings include the color of the cross, if you want outlines, the thickness and opacity of the outline, if you want a center point, and tons more.
This is obviously a personal preference, but we recommend that you disable the "Crossfade with misfire" option . This causes your crosshair to widen as you shoot, and to contract as recoil falls. While it may seem useful at first, we have found a static sight to be less obtrusive.
If you are fighting for a color, a simple neon green is a good place to start. Don't be afraid to look at your favorite Valorant streamers (dare we say CS: GO players too?) For inspiration.
Finally, be sure to jump into a practice range with your newly created crosshairs just to see how it works. Sometimes there is a big difference between how it looks on the preview screen and how you will follow it in a match situation.
