How to do the Bunny hop jump in VALORANT

Perfect the art of how to do the Bunny Hop jump in Valorant

How to do the bunny hop jump in VALORANT:

Like Bunny Hop on Valorant, if you've played Counter-Strike, dabbled in Quake, or tried Apex Legends for size, then you should be at home with bunny hopping.

Bunny Hopping is all about gaining speed and using the air to travel from one place to another.

Some games actively discourage it, like Call of Duty. But others, namely Counter-Strike, accept it.

If VALORANT had to be compared to another first person shooter , it would be Counter-Strike.

The game has elements of Overwatch and Apex with its character-based action, but when it comes to gameplay and mechanics, it screams Counter-Strike.

In Counter-Strike 1.6 and Source days, you can leap from one side of the map to the other and catch your opponents off guard.

It's not the same at VALORANT, and the distance you can go is not that impressive, but the Bunny Hop jump is entirely possible.

How to bunny hop in VALORANT?

Practice makes perfect when it comes to learning the art of Bunny hop jumping on Valorant.

You need to get acquainted with airstrike first if you want to hone your Bunny hop jumping skills.

This is simply jumping (or falling) and moving the mouse in one direction while pressing the corresponding arrow key:

A for the left, D for the right.

This should give you a small amount of speed.

Once you've lowered the air, you can start practicing your Bunny hop jumps. Bunny Hopping is to combine a left air strap (A) with a right air strap (D) in quick succession.

To do this, jump up and press A while simultaneously pointing the mouse to the left of the mouse pad.

Then jump up, press D, and move the mouse to the right side of the mouse pad. Then rinse and repeat, jumping from left to right and increasing speed.

The simplest way to bunny hop is to leave the space bar and link the jump to the trackball.

It's so much easier to sequence your Bunny hop jumps and time them perfectly when you move.

What's the point of doing the bunny hop jump at VALORANT?

The boost you get from jumping Bunny hop on the spot at VALORANT is hardly worth mentioning. But in certain scenarios, it may be worth considering.

If you try to move around the map and reach a bomb location before your enemy, you must avoid the Bunny hop.

It might even slow you down if you make a careless mistake.

But if you want to get through a Slow Sage Orb, Sulfur Incendiary, or Phoenix Hot Hands as quickly as possible, jumping out of Bunny hop could save you a few extra seconds.

If you correctly time your Bunny hop jumps, you should even avoid taking damage.

You can also use bunny hopping in conjunction with agents like Raze, as demonstrated here by content creator Jack Dice.

If you bounce off one of Raze's mines and immediately jump when you hit the ground, you'll get a quick boost.

The same goes for your maximum ability. This could work with Jett as well, weaving scripts into Bunny Hop jumps in time.
